This October half term we are pleased to announce opportunities for Junior players to play as well as develop their hockey leadership through coaching and umpiring. Both members and non-members welcome!
- Bowdon Leadership Award for U16-U18s (Years 10-13)
This course will run over two days for juniors who would like to develop their confidence and abilities in coaching and umpiring. It will run on Tuesday 24th and Thursday 26th October from 10am – 3pm, and be run by Assistant Director of Hockey, Connor Jameson, and NZ internationalist and Women’s 1s players, Alia Jaques.
It will involve 2 hours of theory on and off the pitch in the morning, then 2 hours of practical delivery in the afternoons. Those who can only do one day will be able to do the second catch up day over Christmas.

- Half Term Hockey for U12-U14s (Years 6-9)
Coaching and gameplay for U12s and U14s on Tuesday 24th and Thursday 26th October 1 – 3pm. Again, this is open to members and non-members and cost for the two hours will be £15.00. You can book and pay via HockeyPlus here.
