We are very pleased to share the news that England Hockey has now gained special agreement from the Government to move on to Stage 4 of hockey return to play guidance. This means that intra club and local competive matches can resume, subject to the club being able to put required conditions in place.
Based on fulfilment of these criteria by clubs, England Hockey should then be able to signal the start of the move to Stage 5, which would enable competitions and leagues to restart. You can read more here:
The work we have to put in is not insignificant, and will include the need to appoint a designated COVID Officer and support team. If you think you could help in any way, please do get in touch! We will also require the support and response of ALL members in order to fulfil all criteria.
While the Coaches and Committee review what is required, we need all players to ensure that they are registered on Club Buzz as this will be essential for us to be able to share and manage the required information on participation: If you have any problems, information on how to reset your login details are on the website.
Thank you for your support, we hope to communicate more as soon as possible.
